Scott joined ABS Ventures in 2000 and invests in software, business services and media companies. Before joining ABS Ventures, he was Director of Corporate Development at Saraide, a wireless software provider acquired by Infospace. Prior to that, Scott was a management consultant with A.T. Kearney where he focused on the technology and communications sectors. Scott has presented at many leading venture capital events. He received his Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University and MBA from Harvard Business School.
Portfolio Relationships: Scott is on the board of directors of ScaleMP, Vesta GMS, and Adeptra, and served on the boards of several other companies including Synchronoss Technologies (NASDAQ:SNCR), Workbrain (TSX:WB, acquired by Infor), Dafca (acquired by Ceallaigh Group) and IQ Financial (acquired by Misys).
Scott was a knowledgeable, thoughtful and pragmatic member of our board. He was always available and willing to roll-up his sleeves whenever needed.
